Do you have a method for dividing up paradiddles since you're not using a foot in your methodology, or do you just throw that whole concept out the window? Jermey Ellis does a paradiddle system, but like you've mentioned, he wasn't trained on actual drums and his setup isn't really like yours. I've been looking at paradiddles on actual kits and trying to figure out a way to do it.

Have you ever tried a Zendrum? They are great, I used to play on one. Very good sensitivity and control, I’m not sure if any pads match it, but I haven’t played a maschine yet. Don’t have it anymore, considering getting one again, or maybe one of these.

This is cool if you like acoustic drums. I'm personally prefer playing electronic music on pads. Hmm... But thats actually very cool to learn for me. I'm playing in ultimately different style due to piano and sound design background. So cool to see it from a drummers perspective
